On January 18, 2019, the registration of FUMEIPHARM’s microcrystalline wax as pharmaceutical excipient was publicized by Center for Drug Evaluation of National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) with registration number F20180001517.
FUMEIPHARM is currently the only manufacturer of microcrystalline wax pharmaceutical excipient registered by the State Drug Administration, which is of positive significance in filling the gap in the domestic pharmaceutical excipients market.
So far, FUMEIPHARM’s 3 products have been registered as pharmaceutical excipients, namely white beeswax, paraffin wax and microcrystalline wax.
As a wax products manufacturer with almost 40 years’ experience, we are proud to announce that we have obtained the registration number of NMPA approval for pharmaceutical grade white beeswax F20180001441 in April, 2018 and pharmaceutical grade paraffin F20180001516 in November of the same year. Now we are the only manufacturer in China that has obtained the registration number of white beeswax as a pharmaceutical excipient, which means that our beeswax meet the requirement of Chinese Pharmacopoeia for refractive index. Also, we have to mention that our pharmaceutical grade paraffin completely meets the requirements of Chinese pharmacopoeia for readily carbonizable substances.
