Efficiently progressing through the stages of website's development is an art in addition to all of the research, designing and development coding work that brings the website to life.

Smart management is a service we specifically offer and deliver. Our philosophy is to include the client in the development process in the role that suits their strengths and preferences. Clients are welcome to be as hands on or delegate as much of the process to us as they like and when starting a project we discuss at which levels the client wants to be involved.

With the client integrated into the workflow, we proceed full speed to maximize our own strengths.

We work with an Agile-influenced process to achieve:

• - Flexibility to account for evolving knowledge during the project

• - Constant testing and quality control to build on an increasingly solid bases

- Team Structure

Depending on the size and type of project, working with us will in most all cases include:

• - Lead and assistant Project Managers conduct research and strategy development, manage the project team and act as daily points of contact for clients.

• - UI/UX Designers and Testers - Often a Project Manager who is also working on the project to directly inject the UI and aesthetic design with the lessons learned via the initial research and the client's stated preferences and goals. As a UX Tester the website is scrutinized throughout the process for adherence to project goals.

• -Designers - Working to deliver artistic inspiration into the process to bring life to the research and project's scope.

• -Frontend developers - Coding the visual representation of the designs to come alive in desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. Focused on maintaining a consistent user experience, high performance speed and usability, long-term website maintainability, proper SEO semantics and accessibility.

• - Backend Developers - Building the backend of the website as an application to acheive its functions and the Content Management System for client-friendly usage and ownership. Significant website functionality is also occurring in the frontend spehere and our frontend and backend developers work in tandem creating solutions to challenges spanning their usually defined roles.

• - SEO Specialist - Every website needs at least a thorough review at inception and ideally an ongoing campaign. We review and improve the SEO posture of every website along its development process through to launch.





- Milestone Process

We naturally start with the research phase, and once concluded begin to design User Experience concepts. From the planning and requirements steps of the research phase however the overall functionality requirements were outlined and while designing the website we are able to begin laying bases of the backend framework, gathering input from the backend and frontend developer's perspectives to holistically design the website with their wisdom fully integrated.

In our project management system at seir.im we create and work towards major Milestones that help divide our work into many steps and measurable points to the larger goal.

Regarding development we always build the most complicated, core components and features first and iteratively layer successive functionalities.

UI/UX Testing and Design

We sincerely believe that exhaustive research, external and clearly defined marketplace objectives lead to website designs that succeed. Designing is the key component to not perform in a vacuum, and for best results we develop an educated vision before drawing a single line, and test our designs and assumptions all along the process through to delivery.

- External Polling

We will conduct a survey of potential visitors to a website of the client's niche to ask and understand their preferences for such a website. Ideally the client can make available access to some of their own current clients for us to present our questions or we alternatively directly seek and contact members of their target market for direct input.

- User Experience Focused Design

We believe that there are fine lines between excessive flourish and superior usability, and that in most cases simpler and more elegant is the wiser choice. We appreciate artistic expression but most websites need to convey information and convey it quickly as a primary goal, with aesthetic impressions serving to assist that as a secondary layer.

- Design Feedback

Client feedback on our designs is important (they are the client after all!) naturally because it is desirable for a site owner to be proud of their own website but also because they are surely well in touch with their target market. Even better however is actual feedback from members of the client's actual target market, and we compile a survey system to present and gather input from them in an easy to use method.

- Live Testing

Beyond impressions on visual designs, testing live functioning portions of a development website with users external to the project is critically helpful to further refine and improve the design and user experience of the website. We conduct external tests with live users at several pre-determined points during the development stages to gain this critical feedback and then importantly use it to improve our designs.
