Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Add a Dish TV Set Top Box to Your SURE Universal Remote

All Dish TV set top boxes are set up for radio frequency operation and will not respond to IR remote until the following procedure is performed.

1. Press the SYS INFO button on the front of the unit to display the current remote address.
2. On the Dish remote press and hold the SAT button for three seconds until all of the mode buttons light up and then release.
3. Use the numeric keypad to enter the new address (1-16). Use address #1 for IR operation.
4. Press the POUND (#) button. If you entered the address correctly the remote will flash three times.
5. Press the RECORD button. Ensure that the new address shown on the screen is the number that you entered.
6. Press the SELECT/OK button to close the SYS INFO screen.

Some additional information: When doing channel macros no time delay is required between channel numbers. These devices are very fast to respond to commands.
